So what is counselling?

We all have times in life when we find it hard to cope. Sometimes we have a lack of understanding about what is happening to us. We may feel anxious, desperate or very alone.

Having someone to talk to can lighten the load and make things seem more manageble.
I will provide a safe space for you to bring what you need to to the sessions.
I will listen to you in a non- judgemental way and together we can try to make sense of your experiences and feelings.

Sometimes this involves distinguishing patterns from the past and finding links to what is happening in the present
I believe in working towards you developing a deeper, more fulfilling relationship with yourself.

I also offer Walk and talk sessions. This can be helpful if you would like to be in nature, walking side by side rather than face to face in a room. It takes place at Oldbury Court in Fishponds.

Cost
I charge £50 for a fifty minute session. The first session is for us both to get a feel for what it might be like to work together. It is important to feel comfortable and relaxed with the counsellor you choose.

Walk and Talk sessions last for 60 minutes and are charged at the cost of £55.
